Here are the 8 points of the EDF paper

1. Disabled people want a new European law. This new law should protect us from discrimination in all areas of life.
   
   
2. The United Nations have made a new law that protects the rights of persons with disabilities. This law is called a Convention. All EU countries should sign and respect this new Convention.
   
   
3. Disabled children should have the same chances to go to school as other children.
   
   
4. Disabled persons should have the same chances to get a job as other people.
   
   
5. Institutions where many disabled people live together should be closed. There should be more possibilities to live in the community.
   
6. When the EU gives money for projects, those projects should not discriminate disabled people.
   
   
7. We need to know better what the real living conditions of disabled people in the EU countries are.
   
   
8. Disabled persons should have access to any public service like everybody else.
